Good beginner Xara book

OK, I'll freely admit I'm no graphics wizard.

Sometimes, I have ideas in my head but am left wondering, "how do I get Xara to do that?"

Much as I admire Gary's XaraXone tutorials, I'd appreciate any advice on a decent book on Xara for beginners. A web site would also do the trick.

There is no book out yet for Xara. This is why I have been creating an on-line manual in the monthly XaraXone WebXealot Issues 16-present detail all Xara's tools and effects in great detail and should help fill in the gaps.

And of course, you can always post questions or challenges here for an almost instant response.

Checked my books and I have (c)xara manual (old one v1.5)

Gary Bouton e-mailed me a few days ago and said the book is progressing, although it was a bit vague as to what format it was going to be in. Sounded like PDF or HTML, and near as I can tell, it is going to be a series of lessons, and not a manual, as such.

There are no books for Xara X, because publishers can't make a lot of money by writing about this product, just for the sake of a few blindfolded followers.
