What i would like to know is whether or not one can use a cdrw drive as your scratch disk.

with over 600mb of space to use. that would be a perfect place to extend the scratch disk is it possible?

please email me as well if you have a method of achieving this.

No. This is the worst thing you can do. Scratch disk MUST be the fastest drive of your computer. Choose the fastest HD, first partition, for that. The slowest drive like CDRW is the worst place to have your scratch disk at.
