I like the ideas that you have but I would clean up the arm and hand and the fish. It is kind of blurry looking and might look better with a crisp graphic.

True,

however the problem is the client gave me a photo of that fish and arm he once took from an old wooden sign and insists it to be included in the logo and to leave it the way it is - of course if i was the one to decide i'd make a crystal clear cut version of the arm and the fish (probably only sharp outlines); but he's the client so what can i do http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
