Yes, tables would be a nice addition, not only to folks (like me) that only do print work inside of Xara, but for those who do web work.

My work-around for print work with tables is just fine for me. Most times I get work that involves tables I request the spreadsheets if they are available. Then I create a PDF of the table(s) and just import those. For people who have given me say a Word document that contains tables, I also just create a PDF of the particular pages with tables, import them to either a new document or page, strip off what I don't need, and move the tables to the appropriate place.

Tables are then vector, the text is live. There is no degradation in print. All styling is done in the source app before PDF creation. It is a small pita in the overall scheme of things.
