Default Re: Creating a 3d Doughnut

So the challenge here, as I understand it, is to create a circle with and outer bevel, and an inner "hole of a doughnut" meaning a round interior hole with a rounded edge.
    Here is what I did:
1 Created 2 circles, one larger than the other, then subtract smaller circle to create doughnut shape.
2 Color shape to your requirement, then apply a rounded bevel, adjust as needed for the interior edge bevelment ( is that even a word?).

3 Clone that shape and change the bevel type to Flat.(or what ever kind of bevel type you want) adjust that bevel until the outer edge bevel is right.
4 Apply a circular transparency, invert the transparency, adjust until it looks right.
5 use the selector tool to select both circles, then group into 1 shape.
6 Save as XAR file and/or export in the format you require.
    7 Done.
    That's all.
