Sp3 Install Problem
Downloaded SP3 from MS site this evening. Didn't work but tried again with AV/AS/Firewall disabled. Worked, except when rebooting it blue-screened (too quick to read screen) just after windows splash screen and looped. Got into safe mode and as you can see below, SP3 has installed. I just can't get Windows to open normally.
I've now restored SP2 successfully to a point I made prior to download.
Q1 What went wrong? Any ideas?
Q2 Should I bother at all [PCHELL.COM says SP3 comes with IE6!]? I keep the PC up to date security wise but SP3 is being pushed from next month apparently, will I just have the same problem?
