I´m a retired English professor (Ph.D., 1982)--actually just quit in 2000 to move to Argentina. I met a lady, go figure.
In the 1990´s I got the bug for web design and spent every waking minute with HTML, CSS, javascript, and graphcs for the web. I created two online classes and taught them for a couple of years before I quit.
Now, I´ve just bought XtremePro and am re-learning the webstuff--as in XHTML and the new standards for CSS. I have no idea what I´m going to do with any of that, besides have fun. Maybe I´ll get back into web design, etc. The biggest challenge is Xtreme Pro, as in finding some sort of structure for learning all the stuff.
I have a website, where I did all the coding and graphics work, but it hasn´t received any attention in over five years. If you´re interested, it´s http://aliscot.com
Thanks to all for the advice and for the great video tutorials!
