Colour Editor: Colour picker dissapears?

I hope one of you guys can help with this issue. Colour picker disappear all of the sudden? I must be doing something wrong? Please....

That is rather odd and something I've not seen before. Have you tried running DP as administrator? and does it happen with a particular file or all the time? Can you tell us what you did leading up to the dropper disappearing?

This happens to me with Xara v5 pretty frequently -- I'm not sure if the issue is the same as in the later version, but I found that by setting the dropdown from "Normal Color" to "Tint" or "Shade" and then back to "Normal" will make the color picker reappear. Something to try.

I've seen it a number of times over the years. Apparently, it's not something easy to track down, or it would have been taken care of long ago. AIR, you may also be able to get the color picker back by opening the Color Editor via the color wheel icon at the left end of the color line.

This used to happen to me also, with one or two previous versions.

The answer I found was to click on the 'Colour picker' first, then click to open the 'Colour editor'.
