Could you please, please add spell check to xara x. I am not the best speller. It would help in cartoon making. and same me some embarrassment.
thanks matt

Don't you think that may be "bloat" feature, which Xara is wonderfully devoid of? Besides, not everyone habla inglés.
very true. had not thought of that. thanks for pointing that out. ohh well I guess i will go buy a dictionary.

If you have a wordprocessor with a spell checker, just swipe the Xara text, paste into the other app, run the spell check, and correct in Xara where indicated.
You can make your text in any Word Processor, I've tried several, do the spell check there. Then, highlight the text, copy it from your word processor and paste it as unformatted text into Xara Xtreme.
It won't retain the font format, but at least it is spell checked. Picture below shows the top line as text in Xara Xtreme and below in Microsoft Word. Note the formatted text copied 'from Xara Xtreme to Microsoft Word' will be as an image so it is not edtiable in Word.
That is what i currently do. just lazy. :d

It's easier to spell correctly, than it is to draw correctly and your a good drawer
Thanks parahandy.

I agree. Spell check, paragraph text with multi columns, unflattened TIFFs. I can't place EPS files or open Corel .cdr files either. What it can do it does very well, but it sure is missing a ton of goodies compared to Corel 12/X3.Originally Posted by Matt_343
Hi Matt,
just have a look at:
www.microspell.com
You can assign a programme to load the spell checker and it is just a small clipboard app. All that you have to do is to make a donation to use the app.
I can't say if it is any good or not as I dont use it, I get my wife to proof read all my work.
