I have only seen the CorelDraw side of things, being a user for several years. I had version 10 which I am familiar with but recently I got myself the newer version 11, so there are a few new things I have to get familiar with like creating repeated objects from a single sample object to save memory (in a similar way Illustrator v10 and Flash save space).

With CorelDraw and Xara X so compatible, with simplar ways to create similar effects, Xara X wins over simplicity of creation and produces the same results, I am told. I was just wondering why Corel did not amalgamate the simplicity of Xara X into their own product. ....... Maybe time will tell. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
