Hey everyone!

I just wanted to quickly introduce myself; my screen name is AYWM, which stands for As You Wish Media.

Yeah, I was born with that name, my parents are strange!

I am a self-taught artist, and I have been using Xara products for about 20 years, or so (off and on). I use other apps as well, and I also have an iPad Pro.

I love art, digital and traditional, I love to travel, and to write as well. I consider myself a good photographer, and I also enjoy gaming.

Hopefully I can start a YouTube channel at some point.

You presumably followed the forum and its predecessors over at least some of the last 20 years and didn't just stumble on it this week?

Your parents had astonishing foresight to name their child so appropriately, being so ahead of their time and then topping that by somehow guiding you to becoming a world-leading example of nominative determinism. My parents wanted to call me Rory, but they held off in case I had a rhotacism - I always thought that was good foresight.

O yeah, I have known of Talk Graphics for years, I have sometimes read the forums on and off. At one point I was a member here, though I no longer recall the email address I used, nor the account ID. I have had so many account names on so many sites throughout the years.

I doubt anyone will remember this but YEARS ago one of the challenges was to create an image from the Paul Simon song Call me Al. It was a funny contest that I forgot who won, but some of the results made me laugh.

The idea was to draw a picture of a bat-faced girl!

That was so many years ago.....

Wish I could remember more, but I mostly read the pages back then.

I've been a moderator since 2000 and I really don't remember AYWM. But then I am older than dirt and don't remember much any more. Did you use a different name then?
