WebDeb (Debbie), you have been hiding well so a belated welcome to TalkGraphics.

It might help TGers work out what your clients expectations might be by offering a couple of them from your portfolio.
From https://www.webdebsites.com/web-design-clients.htm and your own site, I see you have kept up with developing using Xara's Plus product and that some of the Xara designs are still published with an earlier Magix version.

You have to manage expectations.

  • Is the off-loading for maintenance and support only?
  • Will the clients have new needs?
  • Most of your designs seem pure Xara and the big question will be "Are any requiring eCommerce, state-driven, support databases or need UAC?"
  • Are you expecting SEO support?
  • Not all sites are SSL. Is this just the Links on the clients page?
  • Would you still support their hosting?

P.S. In passing, the UK/US time difference actually works well for client interaction. Client raises a request or issue one day and the magic UK workers beaver all (the client's) night to deliver a response or solution for the client at their breakfast.
