Yes, I also did woodwork at school, except we had a scary teacher, so we learned everything out of fear. Reflecting back I guess he was only trying to protect us from injuring ourselves. I wouldn't like to have been responsible for a load of kids with chisels and saws!

We had a very good woodwork teacher.
Yes safety was important, but he did it in a way that you understood what you should do, or not.
This drwaing looks as though you've not finished putting it all together!!!
