Thanks, I have tried many different settings, but to no avail.
The "Do Not Show Again" option is never visible.
Never had anything like this happen.
It has the folks at Xara stumped also.
There must be some setting I can change to stop it popping up

is your screen at native resolution? - have you got windows scaling set? - worth checking maybe
edit - oh and graphics drivers up to date ?

Yes screen is at native resolution. I have tried different resolutions with not luck.
I usually have my scaling set at 125%, changing it to the recommended 100% did not change anything.
Last week I removed all previous graphics drivers and did a clean install of up to date drivers.
There is a "DoNotShowAgain" item in the registry, but it has five different values and I am not sure which to change.

I would have thought that setting your windows OS to portrait [in display settings] and then resizing the xara window might have helped, which may be what acorn had in mind by 'rotate'

I tried it all.
Some kind of anomaly going on.
I have installed a handful of Xara programs on the same computer and monitor without any problems.

Earlier in this thread you mentioned that you have v20 perpetual installed. Could you please check the registry entries and see what values you have set.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Xara\XtemeProPerpetual x64\20\Options\DontShowAgain
There are 6 entries all set to zero.
