    To answer my own question:
Alt+Tab seems to take focus to the next open document and
Alt+Shift+Tab seems to take focus to the previous open document

To be fair, I thought I had already tried that... !

shipen, it all depends on context.
Alt-Tab means hold down the Alt key and repeatedly press the Tab key.
Include the Shift Key, Shift-Alt_tab to reverse the direction.

These are basically MS Windows shortkey actions.

Open the Options dialog and use the same keys and your move to a different Tabbed form.

Back on the main screen, Ctrl-Tab and Shift-Ctrl-Tab appear to do the same as above.
But in the Options dialog, the focus is changes to the next or previous field or button.

If you press Ctrl-Alt-Tab, perhaps by accident, you get stuck in Windows mode and it tabs through open applications.

There is a hidden menu, top-left, just under the Xara icon, which when you open allows Ctrl+F6, single-shot to be used. In any other location is changes the active Tool to Photo.
    Funnily, Shift-Ctrl-F6 works repeatedly.

Just be careful in pressing random combinations, some cover some of Xara's little used functions and you are left wondering how did that just happen?
