Richard,
Really like what you're creating here. I've always been a scifi nut. Don't think I would attempt a project like this myself. Think I'll just admire your work...

The feelings mutual Ron. I KNOW I would not have the patience to work on strictly mechanical things like cars and motor bikes, I think I would pull my hair out and throw the computer out the window!! Your stuff, along with Kane Rogers and a few others is just mind blowing to me. I am quite impressed and a bit in awe of your talent for sure.
Now just say a prayer that my little ADD mind stays focused on this project long enough to see it finished!!

How you doin'?
This is a pretty cool thread. Too bad I don't have Xara...

Hiya Kelly,
Doing fine, busy and doing my thang!! I miss you guys but to be honest I really have not been using PI for a while now, kinda moved up (PS-CS, got a client that works for Adobe and before that had a copy of PS7, so...... but I still miss you guys just the same! )
Maybe you should download the trial of XaraX and give it a try. There is an update in the works and should be out sometime in the near furture. Kinda neat, Charles Moir, the "head master" as I call him, has been interacting on the boards. A first I think!!
Anyway, hope we are not being too crude and strange over here but it's John's fault, it's always John's fault!!
Take care!!

Richard,
Cool illustration Can't wait to see it finished.
Dimitry,
Keep those changes and programs coming ... you are making us all SOOOOOOOOO much better
Joel,
I think those designs are right on target. I can see one of those cards arriving in the mailbox Nice Job!
JohnR,
You missed your calling in life ... I can see it now ... YOU standing on the stage at the COMEDY CLUB with a microphone saying "You might be an ARTIST if ........."

THANK GOD for Mozilla and it's ability to block images so I could get this darned page to load faster.
One thing I HATE about the new forum software is that you can't post a reply untill the entire page is loaded, images and all!!
Anyway, here is the first in a L O N G time. I was playing around today and it got out of hand, of course...
I call it "Space Being". The body looks kinda chintsy, I am only just beginning to work on it, the over all look is really only just begun and hopfully I will stay interested in it long enough to finish it. So far I like it so that's an incentive!
Don't be too hard on me, as I said it's only about 1/3rd done, give me 2/3rd's more and it will look really cool, I hope!

This image is just something I've been fooling around with. I'm not very happy with it so far. I've been thinking of it as a time machine. The cast iron part was imported from SketchUp. The drawing also uses elements from older Xara drawings.

Yea, and I'm kinda shy too so if I was working with a live, naked model it would take a while before I hit my stride sketching or taking photos without blushing or just being to nervous to do anything correctly!! No really, I'm a shy guy on a face to face basis unless I really feel a good conection right away, which is rare!

Shall I...
or shan't I...
Oh...
I can't resist...
I have to give in to temptation...
If I had a live naked feminine model...
I would be ready to get "connected" with no problem...
I might get a little red faced later on...
I am so...
