    Having for many years not being able to view these stereograms they almost always just jump off the page now I have the technique to view them. This ones great.

    Good one Gary! My eyes instantly adjusted for this one. It usually takes me about 5 seconds; this one was fast.

    "The oval is also blended to the background rectangle." Is that how you get the 3D part between the oval and the outer edge such that the part outside of the oval is also 3D, sloping back to the outer edge, rather than flat?

    Yes both the background rectangle and the oval have gradient fills then the two were blended together. Also with some Profile tweaking.
