Using Lightbox instead of Highslide for images

Hi all,

Is there a way to use lightbox instead of Highslide by default? I really wanted the images to work with mobile devices but be able to organise the gallery from within Xara.

Lightbox is a method not a unique component.
Yes, it can be coded but look at the level of complexity involved with even a simple one: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_lightbox.asp
Do you have the skills?
there are many 10s if not 100s of methods to work on.

Your statement around Highslide is confusing as this is built-in as a Xara component and using it works across Variants.

If you throw away Highslide, you can build a pure Xara approach with Layers and the pop: link syntax.

We need a better steer.

Essentially i'm just looking for better ways of hosting a gallery on mobile devices, Highslide is not Mobile friendly. Any suggestions to work around it?
