a new top bar I created for my site. I personally like the colors and think they are fresh and look friendly. The font feels like the right one to me as well, perhaps a bit too neutral but its the one I liked best.
The one big problem for me is to deal with that "edv beratung" where I cannot decide on both boldness and color ...
I would be happy on any feedback.

thank you in advance,
juergen

ps. leave and text will be used for everything, not only on the web.

is for number 4. The text appears to be just right.

I'm with Gary here ...

2 is worst, 3 is too dominant.
1 ist not-so-bad, but 4 got it just right.

This may of course be because of the little by-line as well

I personally would increase the vertical space between "Herling" and "edv beratung" (den Durchschuss erhöhen ...)
But that could conflict with the horizontal lines ?

I agree. The first two look almost blurred. With the third one your eye goes to edv beratung when you want herling to be dominate...and as goldilocks said number four is "just right".

for the answers.

the leaf btw. is from the photo collection that came with Corel Xara when I bought it from i-us
I choose it because it felt warm and matched the orange color I use as the main color for everything

if it is ok with you I will post the symbols I will use on the site when I am done with them as well. they take some time though as it is a bit harder ...

# 4 got my vote... Like the leaf. Heck, I like everything that is or is close to a maple leaf... Being Canadian, i might be bias...

For what it's worth, I definitely think #4 is the best.

Does this mean we can forward to a new version of Topics as well?
