Thanks Ron, Egg, Larry, Stygg for your comments.
Egg, normally markings on top of wing are on the starboard side, under wing on port side.
I forgot to mention this aircraft was going to use eight Griffon or Centaurus engines driving the eight contra-rotating props. It would have been an interesting design.
I love the amount of surface detail you add. For example the different sheen on the metal fuselage. It is what makes these images exceptional.

Wow! you always manage to surpass yourself Gray!
It's very cool that you've included the steps.

Gary thanks, The metal surfaces do require some texturing and weathering to make them more realistic. Also depends on the size of the final image as to how strong these effects are.
MarcT, thanks for your comment. It sometimes helps to show the basic steps involved.
Thanks for the clarification Gray. I've never noticed that before, I'll look out for itEgg, normally markings on top of wing are on the starboard side, under wing on port side.

My husband is curious, how do you fit 8 Griffins and 4 props.
Thanks
oh wow this is so cool! expert drawing, I thought it was a real image!
Thanks, Pommes.
Gracehjs, it would be a layout similar to this one in the Bristol Brabazon. Four enines, four contra- rotating props per wing.
