I don't have any pieces in 2d that looks like 3d. I simply have not been able to develop the talent to shade and light my 2d drawings in a realistic way.
That is why I found 3d so interesting. I could create something semi-realistic. I am not one that thinks art must be realistic looking to be art. But my taste/admiration goes toward artist who can create such pieces.
The stuff that Steve Newport (hope I got the name right) does in Xara blows me away. Some of it looks better than I can create will a 3d app.

2d, 3d or whatever it is the final art that I love not how it is made. I admire the talent of 2d, 3d, tradtional and digital artist. But I must admit I admire a 2d artist that can create works that look 3d the most.
