Make a clone copy of the photo and apply feathering. Send the feathered copy to the back. Then apply a diagonal Linear transparency to the non-feathered image.

another way would be to have a triangle interescted [or clipped] bitmap on top - if you use gary's method then you may need to tweak the transparency profile for best results at the corner joins

If you don't mind losing a small part of the photo, create a rectangle smaller than the original photo, align top & left to photo, put to back, no fill, create a clip-view (Q). See attached.

Another way is to use a diamond transparency and either use the profile sliders or for more control add and adjust transparency stops to adjust the edge, then simply move the center of the transparency down and to the right.
