Hey what do you say about my printer picture? Done in one hour retracing a real printer.... I know it's not perfect but it'll do for the job !

I need such pictures for a sales catalog, and since the company doesn't provide a high quality photos I have to do the hard work http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Good repro Availor. Couple of points:
What are the shapes in the background?
As it's a drawing it is very difficult to see the scale of the machine. How about adding something to give the viewer some idea.

The background are just something that got accidently in the way.

I know what you mean about size, therefore, I will add an A4 page to the printer, so the buyer can see what the printer's size is relatively to the printed page.

I'll have to draw one more picture, showing the printers capabilities, thin border printing etc...

Then I will make a 4 page catalog for the printer.

The idea came to me when I realized nobody makes such catalogs in here, and the specification details are very poor. Thus, repelling a potential buyer.

The same product, described better will be sold better.

Nice Drawing Availor. I would suggest picking up a digital camera. It would make getting product stock much easier. A digital SLR would do the trick pretty well.

I do have a Digital camera, though a drawing is somehow different, and more eye catching, it's very modern these days.

Besides, I don't have all these printers stacked at home http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

    P.S. What is "SLR" ?

    Cool illustration, Availor!
If you need something more realistic, you can try to apply the bevel to all these black outlines, sometimes it works fine ;-) just select all black lines and play with Bevel tool...

...and very easy, by the way! Remember to set the FILL color (NOT THE OUTLINE COLOR!) as a Gray...

    What is "SLR" - Availor

High end digital cameras... Look and act like a decent 35MM but the resolution is not as good. somewhere between 6 and 15 Megpixels depending on make and model. Here are a few of the more popular models. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Personally, I like my Pentax *IST DS. Sweet little camera, but not cheap.
