    Like the burning paper effect. Tried reproducing it here. Apolgies re the Arsenal logo, it goes against the grain

    Saw an advertisement (probably from the 50s) advertising how good Stout was for women.
    It may have been, or maybe still is!
    I don't know?!
    But, it made me want to draw the label - as I hadn't done one, yet.

    In fact they did:

    In England, post-operative patients used to be given Guinness, as were blood donors, based on the belief that it was high in iron.
    Pregnant women and nursing mothers were at one stage advised to drink Guinness - the present advice is against this.
    The article where this was extracted from also states that it is indeed good for you as it acts in the same manner as Asprin for circulation issues.
