365: Clone tool tip woes

I just installed 365 last night and the clone tool's auto help keeps popping up no matter how many times i uncheck the 'show this tip next time' box. Every time. And then after this, i closed down my computer then restarted it now, the photo flyout won't show anything but the clone tool, complete with the constant reminder of the tips.

Is my computer broken? lol

First thing to try is right click the program icon and run as administrator. Then if the icons still do not appear under the windows menu click on control bars, then the button that says reset.
