Came across this on KickStarter - a stop-motion film that is telling a human story rather than an outright cartoon type fantasy. It's not wallace and Grommit.

Didn't think the trailer did the film any justice as I still don't know what the story is about.

I understand what you mean, but the clues are there.

It's a nice change for a trailer not to give the story away.

The film is about a man crippled by the mundanity of his life.

I heard an interview with the film maker on Terry Gross's Fresh Air program. The amount of work is incredible. After doing this one frame at a time, life must feel hyper-speeded up.
