    Smile Merry Christmas! Our card...

is actually from 1995, exactly 20 years ago. If I'm lucky, someone will remember having received it back when a Pentium box was a blazingly fast workstation. A little nip and tuck here and there, and I think it's presentable:

This is a perfect time of year for a little introspection, and also a time when I'd like to share a thought with everyone. I forgot who originally said it, but this phrase has stuck with me for nearly half a century:

Quite often, those who need love the most are those least deserving of it.

The same can be said of Charity. I don't feel I'm in the Top 1% of Humanity's Finest Examples, but I think if I exert myself more than usual, I can come up with at least one or two selfless acts that represent the best a person can strive for on this mortal plane.

Merry Christmas and A Very Happy, Safe, and Warm Holiday Season from Barbara and I to all of you reading this!

It may have been done 20 years ago but it's still lovely. Are those "Gary" and "Barbara" snow people in the snow globe?

The sentiment is for all of us, Rik, but thanks; I know what you mean.

Similarly, I'm either short-sighted (which is a possibility) or not many folks have posted their Christmas cards, Hanukkah greetings, or other non-secular or secular celebration of this time of the year, and its spirit.

    Anyone care to go second?

I'll even un-post mine and re-post it later so anyone who'd like to go first can do so.

Absolutely, Frances! I'm glad you noticed. Alternatively, over the years, we've been cartoon stick figures, penguins, 2 M&Ms stuck together...we're just stuck together and happy to be that way.

I was going to post mine but seeing how you are on the mailing list for the physical version I decided not to...and they are not back from the printer yet.

If ya promise not to look I might change my mind ;^)

Your card gives me goosebumps, Rik!

It's chilling, it's thrilling, it's Christmas at or around a latitude of 50° N. in our hemisphere!

    I love it!
