Background extended below page

Hello

I have built a page that when I preview I see a gap or the background at the bottom beyond the actual end of the page. I attach an image to further explain.
Any ideas?

What is the height of your page and the browser viewport? The page doesn't stretch.

Thanks for responding Acorn, but I have found the problem/solution, it's odd though. There was some text in the footer but for some reasons Xara would publishing some invisible text beneath this extending the page, I reset the paragraph style of the text and it seems to have resolved the issue,

Cheers naz, I've just tried to replicate the effect but I've been unsuccessful and can only achieve the opposite.

If you have "invisible" text it probably is because the text is deeper than then text area. Extend the bottom of the text area and the text will not long be invisible.

Invisible is the wrong word there is no text there. Just an empty Div.
