Anyone have Windows 10 yet

You're lucky Grace, I ordered a HP laptop (hopefully here in a couple of days) and it comes with 8.1, obviously the microsoft hardware comes preinstalled with 10 whereas other manufacturers will go through their stock first.

Just installed and not liking much so far.

UI feels slow and unresponsive + not fan of the dark interface that seems to be the default. I can honestly say that overall not really an improvement over 8.1 version, but maybe it will grow on me after some time.

I'm still stuck with windows 7 so your not alone Gary I have lost count of how many failed attempts I've had with windows update. I'm going to go the media creation tool route but I wont have time to do it for a day or two. I've heard it can take 3 to 4 hours depending on the machine.

What are peoples thoughts about the new Edge browser? I've used Chrome for several years now how does Edge compare?

I dont like Edge. I cant move my bookmarks around easily like I can with chrome. Im just having problems all around with browsers period.

I've used edge for a few days and I say can that it is fast, very fast and browsing is brilliant but in their goal to keep it minimal they have hidden many settings one would need to hand, browser settings included. I have now had a week or so of using win10 and it is really quite brilliant, no problems updating from 8.1 and no problems with drivers either. There are always exceptions and some people will have problems updating and yet others like me will have had a great problem free experience. I have upgraded an oldish windows 7 laptop and one fairly new with 8.1 and a few days ago got a brand new one with 8.1 which updated itself the first time I switched on the machine, wasn't expecting that but it was problem free.
