I was under the impression this was the work of Syd Mead but found this link http://danielsimon.com/galleries/tron-legacy/ tributing this Vintage Light Cycle design illustration by Daniel Simon for Tron Legacy / Disney Studios. 3D model Daniel Simon. © DISNEY... This will give you a little more background of this image. Now upon looking this information up, I found several renderings of this image by different artist. I'm not sure whose image I copied. Lots of images out there.

Tron is much older movie than Tron Legacy, which is fairly recent.
