Turn off auto-Hyphenation in XWD365 Premium

How can I turn this off? I have searched everywhere to no avail. All I can find is this: http://support.xara.com/index.php?/K...nation-in-xara, but there are no such options in XWD365 Premium. This must be a new feature in XWD365 Premium because it never occurred in XWD11 Premium.

Ray, Premium doesn't have this feature.

@TheCapn - you ought not to be getting any. Can you upload an example?

Acorn, I was going to say, I do not see the option Ray pointed out.

Mine has it, that is what I made the copy from. In my copy you have to click on the three dots to get the other bar to show up which says you can turn on or off the Auto Hyphenation when you click the other button the arrow is pointing to.

My version is Xara Designer Pro X 12.4.1.47518 DL x64 Nov 17 2016

Maybe somebody else can confirm on there copy?

Looked at your file and the syl- button was on. Double click in the text area and clicking on the syl- button to turn off Auto Hyphenation .

Ray, I just noticed you are using Xara Designer Pro, not Xara Web Designer. The syl- button is available in that version as shown in the support link I provided earlier.

I'm wondering if Xara added it to Web Designer 365 but forgot to include a way to turn it off.

I have taken the auto hyphenation off on your file.

I am wondering if you started a new document and did a text box would the auto hyphenation be on in the new document. I looked at the original file that you upload in the post about parallax and it did not have the auto hyphenation on, so not sure how it got set in this file.

Hope this helps sorry about the other confusion between the programs.

Thanks Ray. That fixed it. You infected my Xara Web Designer with auto-hyphenation, lol. Seriously, that seems to be what the problem was. I opened the file you sent, went back to my current project, and when I started typing the auto-hyphenation was gone. I should note that it only worked for new text created. It didn't change the previous auto-hyphenated text, even when I cut and pasted it.

Even though I didn't want this for my current project, I think it's a nice feature and hopefully will be added to XWD365 in the near future.
