Activation Code for Xara 10 not working

Client purchased Xara 10 and received activation code via email from Xara. When he copied and pasted the activation code into the screen, it would only let him use the trial. Next to the activation code was an X that wouldn't go away. I told him to just use the trial until I got an answer to his dilemma, but the 7 day period is almost up. Please help!

Just found out that I think he was using the order number rather than the serial number. We'll give that a try. Thanks.
