Larry - I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. One of my deceased brother-in-laws was in the Marine Corps. He was a dive bomber radio gunner in the Pacific during WWII, he was shot down twice. Later, he became a Marine pilot and server during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He retired after over 30 years of military service.

that's an unusual media effect. it looks sort of like watercolor, but not quite
The original image was a black and white photograph, I converted it into blue and white. Next I produced a watercolor effect and then converted that into a soft HDR. I was attempting to produce a theme of a dreamy faded memory.
