WD9Premium font display issues. Not switching to selected font.

Hi.

I'm having problems when using text on my page. I wish to use Verdana, but all I get is Abadi MT Condensed Extra Bold.

I'm attaching a screenshot of my page and panel.

When I do a page preview I get this message:

I'm sure one of you can show me what I did wrong.

I assume you have not applied any style.
The way to change the font for any existing text is to select the text and switch to the Text Tool (T or F8).
Then you need to highlight the text (Ctrl-A) and use the Font Menu to pick your required Font.

the Font Menu retains the last used Font. So at some time you may have selected the Abadi font and you've been stuck with it since.

I applied all the steps that you showed me. That is the way I have been doing it, things did not change.

Then I noticed my line width was set to 2. After I changed it to none the text improved! It's all good now, I must have set the line width to the text when I was trying to apply it as a text area border.

Pete, thanks for the update; it still seems a puzzle though.
I tried setting my line widths for the text to different values and had no problems.

I usually close and re-start the application when I get funnies this this.

I closed and restarted, it didn't help. I think I figured it out. I have a quote on my header in the Abadabi font.

When I tried to preview the page I assumed the message meant the written text, not the header text.

The written text in my block looked screwy due to the 2 px line width.

I love this software, it's incredible. I know if something isn't working it was me that did it,(wicked learning curve, ha ha).
