    Default Gallery Widget

On the Xara website in products - web Clipart http://www.xara.com/us/products/templatepack1/
The Clipart preview come up nice and large and in a clean frame (no close or next/previously...)

I would like to make a gallery with designer pro that uses this same nice Coleen look but can not find how. The only gallery I can find to use had all these other controls on the images when selected...

    Any suggestions

    Peter

I would use layers and link the thumbnail images to the layers. Create one new layer for each thumbnail and link the thumbnail to Website Properties > Link > Show Pop-up Layer or Mouse-Over > Show Pop-up Layer.

Mouse-Over > Show Pop-up Layer does not require a click. When the visitor mouses over the image the pop up layer shows automatically.

I have used that technique here http://gwpriester.com/vector-Illustration.html

    Thanks
That looks like it should give me the control I want over both the thumbs and the image

FYI this is what I currently have

Note all images have Xara in the workflow over a basic cad raytrace

I would make your images JPEG instead of PNG. 251K vs 50K. Your images will load much faster and the image quality will be almost the same.

And rethink your logo. All your work is well designed, clean and professional. Simplify your logo to reflect your design.

UPDATE: I am not sure why, but my two examples one of which was a PNG and much sharper than pictured below got changed to a JPG.

I shall try to get to the bottom of this.
