    Thumbs up!

Same here. I´ve followed Son of Makeover Maven and Logos for the Design Challenged by Gary and they are a must. Don´t miss those...

Thanks for the metallic fills Gary they are very usefull http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Here is one sugestion or two for a second round about the subject.

What about a tutorial recreating diferent known metals and material types?
They all have specific aspects and qualities that only can be achieved throught the usage of diferent fills/colors and how they reflect/mirror light and enviroment. So aluminium would be diferent from steel or silver, like glass is diferent from plastic. One of those old pens would be a good sample
I know that some tuts already touched some specific known materials but none has focused its attention entirely on those diferences.

A gold painted beveled wood frame like those used in art museums would give a great tutorial aswell, i think. Since the material used is painted wood it has a soft/"blurred" relection of light that make the colors change slightly depending on the surface shape/curvature/bevels. And it´s always good as a base to create an interesting image composition.

    Great workbook as always...
    Thanks,

    Miguel

Dmitry - I though FontSeeker was sooo cool I had to add it. As you improve it, I'll replace the file with the latest version. For a "first try" it is right on the money. Not much I could suggest except a larger preview window and a font size option.

    Miguel - Great suggestions. Thanks.

And to all who have added your comments, a big thank you. I really appreciate all the feedback.

P.S. I took the Culttext.jpg and increased the contrast in Picture editor with good results.

P.P.S. I tried to send this from the Feed Back page and got a "404" page not found http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
