I clicked the S icon against each layer and found nothing that was not required.
There are no placeholders on this page and I have never put a widget on this page,
all I use on this page is .jpg files.
How do I find an orphan widget?

Post the .web file with only the home page so that someone can take a look.

Thanks for posting. I do not see what you see, however. Even when I import an image and put it at the bottom of the MouseOff layer, the thumbnail shows the picture without any white shadow and I cannot see the effects of any hidden object as you describe it.

You uploaded two .web files. Does the problem also show in the "Parish Notices & Events" page? I did not see anything unusual on this page either.

No I checked all pages and found 1 that had 2 unwanted objects which I deleted.
A few days ago I also uninstalled WD9 and re-installed but no luck.
I guess I'll just have to carry on and improvise on my home page, maybe the next WD9 update may clear it?
Thanks for your help much appreciated ... Andy
