Steady on Bob. Actually I did myself in last night with one and a half bottles at a dinner party. I brought a very excellent Cabernet and since I was about the only person drinking it, I did not want any of it to go to waste.
If you look at this Google search for white wine glasses, you will see that the majority of glasses are like glass #2.

I'd use glass one and put Vodka in it, instead of the wine.

I'd choose #2 as well, but the poll really looks like a trap cause the answer seems to be too obvious, so my answer is #1

I repeat. 2. It focuses the aroma better.

Agree with Gary, the aroma is more focused in the more fluted glass, the glass on the left is more for stuff like sherry. I have also read recently that a glass with small dimples on the bottom causes sparkling wine to release more bubbles and therefore taste better.
Both red and white wines and sparkling wines - e.g. champagne are best served in glassed that are more closed at the top (see here for examples). And room temperature does not mean room temperature unless your room is about 68F degrees. White wine should be served cool, but not refrigerated/chilled. Chilled wine does not release the flavors and aromas.
