    Terrible car, their suspension was as bad as the Metropolitan's, it was made from the poorest quality steel. The van was the best and the A35 followed on quite quickly using much of the Morris 1000 mechanicals and its floor pan. I think my lawnmower has more h.p. than the A30 if I can remember right it was around 25hp. To show how crude it was, it had trafficators instead of indicators, yellow arms that came out from the B pillars between the 2 doors and operated from a rotary switch right in the middle of the dashboard. Because the car was so slow it did not need hydraulic brakes all round as the rear had one slave cylinder which operated rods to each back drum brakes which seized.
    Design is thinking made visual.
