"Help Lines"

Can somebody please tell me ...

When I use Premium 9 and I use the "Grid" template, I get these helpful colored lines that appear as I drag objects around the page to help me center, line up images and text boxes. Very helpful! However, on the other template I'm using ("Apollo"), those same helpful lines are nowhere to be found. What am I missing? Is there a feature I'm using in the Grid template that's turned off when I use the Apollo template?
