    Default Search field within website

    Hello,

I am currently designing a website, in this site I want an option to search for addresses. I want to create a option that gives the user a drop down box, then they click on the customer and then the address will be shown.

Any ideas of how to achieve this?

    Sam, how many addresses?
If, say eight, you could create vertical menubar and have each button display a pop-up layer with the address details.
All eight layers would be stacked together (any order) and would open on a click or a mouse over event; click is better.

That way, it is all in Xara and the pop-ups can be as fancy as you can design.
More than eight starts to look a bit crowded, but you could always group the addresses into categories and have sub-menus.

There is no limit to the number of pop-up layers I can think of.

Using Javascript and a drop-down is possible but constraining.
