Default Clone tool defaults to freehand

I click the Clone/Erase. After I draw the clone area, the freehand, not the clone, tool highlights, and I've lost the clone function...?

Solved...in a way. The photo had been moulded beforehand. Finally decided to export it as as jpeg then re-import the image. Then the Clone tool worked. Tried to re-create the method but found I didn't need to export in order to use the Clone tool...no idea/guess it was just an "atmospheric anomaly!"

Instead of exporting as a JPEG which means the image when you import it will have degraded some, Create a Bitmap Copy (Arrange menu or right click on the image). This creates a PNG image. I usually make the copy 300dpi and without the Alpha transparency option.

Also, in Designer Pro 7 there is an option in Arrange to Flatten Photo Group which creates a new bitmap with your Clones incorporated.
