Hi everybody!

Just download the font and install it on your computer and use it in xara.
Well, it is probably not quite that simple. You need to add a script to your site that tells the visitor's browser where to find and download the fonts. It is not very hard, but if you don't do this, the fonts will only display if the visitor has the fonts installed, which is not all that likely.Just download the font and install it on your computer and use it in xara.

Download the font or fonts you want to use. Generate a script for each font you plan to use on the Google Web Fonts site.
Copy the script for the font or fonts you plan to use in your document and paste the script into the Web Properties > Website > HTML Code Body) window. Press OK and then Apply.
This links to the font and adds the font name to your document when you publish.

With the exception that fonts that you have installed to your PC, including those from Google web fonts, are embedded in your site when using version 8.
The .ttf and .eot is exported to your index_htm_files folder which is then downloaded to the visitors machine to enable them to see the correct font.
No other scripting necessary, Xara does all the heavy lifting here

Yeah, you're right.
Never mind.

Thanks Steve, gary even had me worried that I was doing it wrong.
Well, the method I described is what you have to use if you have an earlier version of WD or Designer that does not embed fonts.

Yes I know Gary, I was basing my answer on the fact that the OP asked about XDPX.
That is the method I am familiar with but I was wondering whether the script method you suggested is better because you (xara software) don't have to physically upload the font, as some of the fonts are quite large. If it is referencing the font it makes the page size smaller and therefore should load the page faster.
