    Default Text Background

I would like to set the background colour for a text string to a different colour than the page background. Is there a simple way to do this? I have just started using Web Designer, and I cannot figure out how to do this.

    Hi gk125, welcome to TG

Create a rectangle of the required size, you may need to press ctrl+B to set it behind the text.
Right click the rectangle and select anchor to text.
Drag the anchor icon the the beginning of the section of text to set its anchor point.
