Hidden images on page

I'm trying to add a couple of promotional JPGs to a page to be picked up and displayed when the page is linked to on facebook. Trouble is, I don't want the images to actually appear on the page as they are essentially promoting the page and therefore not actually part of the page.

Has anybody managed to successfully do this? I've tried just FTPing the images onto the server in the same folder but facebook actually reads the HTML of the page. I've tried placing the images under a background image so they are effectively hidden but uploaded with the rest of the content but that doesn't seem to be working out either.

try these 5 easy steps
Start IE.
From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Select the Advanced tab, and scroll down to the Multimedia section.
Select or clear the Show pictures checkbox.
Click Apply, then click OK. The change will take effect the next time you view a Web page.

Tried that Drwyd, but it didn't seem to work. But then facebook has an annoying habit of caching pages so maybe it will pick it up in a few days or so.

Hi NewEra. Not quite sure what you are saying. I'm trying to get facebook to pick up on a JPG that's hidden from a page. Surely my IE options have no bearing on the situation.
