Frances, it's a building that is fairly typical for the area, so beautiful didn't come to mind. I don't know how old it is but I don't think it has any remarkable age in comparison with many other buildings in the area.
Besides the small village that features in the (now cancelled) series, there's the railway line which is famous for it's steam trains. We took our (then) yound kids for a walk by getting off at the station then walking overland to the next station along on the line then catching the steam train back again.
The next station is the end of the line and has engineering yards for the steam and other locomotives.
The area is a steam enthusiasts dream.
