for some reason I am finding myself on youtube listening to 80's and 90's crappy cheesy songs such as; Star trekking, Cotton eyed joe, doctorin the tardis etc. I heard star trekkin on youtube and just followed the recommended songs from there, true youtube surfing!!

The Handsome Family are doing the business today. Yesterday was Bob Dylan (early electric period). Tomorrow? Who knows?
Come on Frank, live a little! There's more to life than Björk, surely.
    Bob.

Tried to listen to Björk. Too whiny for my tastes. I could see that after 48 minutes I might do something I did not intend to do.

But I am going through a phase of French singers like Zazie. And I recently rediscovered Mary Chapin Carpenter.

she's very whiny but she's still there i'm afraid, there's a thing in itunes that tells you how many times you've listened to a track, i've listened to the album 54 times since 20th february, there's something very very wrong there somewhere...

in the car i have the incomparable charles trenet and edith piaf as well as robbie williams, fleetwood mac, elo, black sabbath, seal and many others, like you guys i'm sure, an eclectic collection covering years of music listening, all on one disc. my car only has a radio in it (thats old cars for you) but my step dad gave a me a cigarette lighter thing that reads a sd card and then plays it like a mp3 reader to a certain fm frequency on your car (or any other) radio so you use your existing incar hifi setup, a real godsend, well, if there was a god, but it rolls easier off the tongue than stepdadsend...

Today is an R&B and Blues shuffle as I finish banging my head on a catalog job. Seemed to fit.

Right now Beth Hart's Don't Explain album is playing.

    Take care, Mike

Today it's been Porcupine Tree and King Crimson with Vaughan Williams's Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis as a sort of interlude. Having decided that computers and graphics in general are a dead loss I've decided to dedicate the rest of my life to cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs.
