No thumbnails in W7 32 bit???

yes, sorry, the program..

in win7 home you have to activate thumbnails globally by clicking on the WE 'organise button > folder and search options > view tab, and unticking 'always show icons, never thumbnails' - maybe similar in pro

and then thumbnails will appear [but not necessarily for the smallest icon sizes]

Running the program as admin. doesn't seem to help and 'always show icons' is unticked.... This wasn't a problem in XP and I can't see that there should be a difference between 'home' and 'pro' on such a basic consideration....

ok that is for the 64bit version - but it might work for 32bit - but at your own risk, I cannot guarantee it

you would have to change the XarThumb64.dll in 'regsvr32 XarThumb64.dll ' - on my 32bit win7 system it would appear to be 'XarThumb.dll' but you would have to check yours

you might find the utility mentioned in the link easier [but i have not used it]

You don't need the '(x86)' in the file path [thats a 64bit system thing], leave it out and it should find the directory

Used it myself yesterday when I realised half [?!] of my thumbnails were showing the example and the other half just displayed the Xara DP logo
