    Thanks Frances.
Hope you had a great Christmas day.
And the festivities have not yet finished.

We had a very good Christmas day, I managed to find gifts that the girls actually liked,(pleasing teenage girls is not an easy task) There was a break in grey rainy weather and the sun actually shone for a while! Dinner with my folks was good, my dad kept sneaking the dog extra turkey and Bill says next year he wants a gas mask for Christmas!

Thank you Rik. We had a nice Christmas day, well weekend. We traveled 400+ miles on the 24th to be with our families and returned home Monday.
My brother and his daughter had done an elf yourself which was real cute. I put a link to it just in case you want to see it.

    400 miles, Larry?!
Mid 80s, we used to do 530 miles, every Christmas. 530 there and 530 back.
I'm not trying to start a competition here, by the way!

    Saw the elf video.
WOW! I wasn't aware you are that fit and agile?

Or my Mom either. I was until I fell on my head ice skating. After that doing art work became more and more difficult, and took longer and longer.
I don't know the exact distance but that is close, one way. From where we live now it's all the way across Missouri and half way across Kansas.
We do that trek most Thanksgivings and Christmas's and several other times a year.
When we lived in Texas it was something like 500+ miles each way.
Occasionally we get caught in some really nasty winter weather and can't make it all the way.
Sorry about this long winded reply, I don't know why I divulge all this stuff. It's better left unsaid.
