Default How to prevent XDPro7 to go online after start

    Hello to everyone,
I just upgraded to the Pro Version 7 (from Xtreme Pro 5) and I am more than happy.
Only one small thing, though. Each time I start Designer, the application attempts to connect to "online resources2.xara.." (or similar). I like to switch that off. Needless to say, I used the search function of this forum – and looked at all options/preferences settings within the application. To no avail. Is their any way to prevent the program from trying to connect to the resource server at start-up?

Hi Axel, there is no way that I know about.

One of the things performed during the connection is a search for new widgets and templates to be added to the Designs Gallery. Not sure if anyone would want to pass up getting new content.

Thanks to both of you for the swift replies.
    >>firewall?>> I got a chuckle out of this one....
As I said it is a minor thing and certainly not an issue. There is of course nothing wrong with receiving new content ;-) It is just that I very much prefer to trigger any online access myself and manually. Just a personal preference.
Designer Pro 7 is quickly becoming my preferred design environment for its straightforwardness, responsiveness, and one-stop convenience. I even start to appreciate the new (to me) charcoal interface.
